Properties: DTDM, a sulfur flower vulcanizing agent, is white or light yellow needle-like crystals or powder. It is soluble in ethanol and benzene, and insoluble in water and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
Uses: Vulcanizing agent and vulcanization accelerator for natural rubber and synthetic rubber.
It can release active sulfur at vulcanization temperature, with an effective sulfur content of 27%.
